Hey everyone!
First off, a huge thanks for being a part of Dota Dojo. Over 3,500 members in under a year, and every single one of you here contributing to our mission: to turn Dota 2 from toxic to enjoyable. In this issue, we're sharing the results from our community poll and shining a light on one of our gem channels in the server - the Dota forum. Let's get into it.
Have you had a chance to dive into the #dota-forum yet? It’s a great place to ask questions, share your ideas, and brainstorm solutions together. Let’s keep improving!
We’ve noticed so many interesting discussions, for example, how to carry weaker teammates, learn specific heroes/roles, identify strong lane combinations, master niche heroes, optimize item builds, and many more. Jump in and join the conversation.

Poll results: You told us why you're here. Here's what we learnt.
Some time ago, we asked you what brought you to the Dota Dojo. The results from that poll are in.
218 of you voted. Here's where it landed.
We asked a simple question: why are you actually in the Dota Dojo? The top three reasons came down to improving your skills, having more control in your games, and finding positive, non-toxic teammates. Here's how the votes broke down:
Find positive, non-toxic teammates with 96 votes
Improve my overall Dota 2 skills with 88 votes
Have more control and impact in my games with 34 votes
All three reasons are close enough that none of them can be ignored. The spread tells us this community isn't here for just one thing — and that matters for how we keep building this place.
This is more than just a poll.
The fact that "find positive, non-toxic teammates" came out on top — even narrowly — says something important You're not just here to get better at the game. You're here because the environment you play in actually matters to you. That's exactly what we're building.
Skill improvement and having impact in your games aren't separate from that either. They go hand in hand. You can't improve sustainably in an environment that makes you want to rage-quit. That's the whole foundation of what we're doing here — and clearly, you feel it too.
We're going to keep using your feedback to shape what happens in this server. But above all, we want to thank you for being the active members. See you around the Dojo!
