Hey Dojo member,

This past weekend was one of the craziest in the short history of the Dota Dojo, so if you weren’t online, here’s the full story of what went down.

It started on Sunday afternoon.

For weeks, players had been asking when coaching in the Dojo would open, so we finally announced that the first ever official Dojo 1-on-1 coaching would go live on Sunday.

We called it the VIP tier, not because you “need” it to improve, but because we want you to know that being part of the community is already enough. All of our content will always be free. But what you can pay for is personal support and help. Hence, VIP.

Right now, the VIP tier is the highest level of 1-on-1 coaching in the Dojo. You get a four-week improvement plan, over two hours of coaching, and direct access to BSJ.
And since we wanted to keep the experience personal and high-quality, we opened only five spots for the first launch.

What happened next surprised even us.

Within minutes, the first spots disappeared.
By the end of the hour, every spot was gone.

VIP sold out in under 60 minutes.

Once it sold out, we knew a ton of you still wanted coaching access but didn’t need 1-on-1. And on top of that, our second coach Erfan had just started trialing with the team.

So, we decided to expand Dojo Plus, our group-coaching tier.

We added 35 new Dojo+ spots so more of you could join without overwhelming the classes. Before the weekend, only 86 Dojo+ slots existed (with a few cancellations). After the expansion, total membership availability increased to 121.

Now that we have more coaching manpower and structure, Dojo+ has matured into something we’re genuinely proud of (and it will only continue to improve).

Originally, access to BSJ’s live classes was the main draw.
But today, Dojo+ members get:

• 8+ Live classes & community events per month
• Private community with 100+ mature Dota players
• Full VOD + Class recordings access (retroactive since start)
• Private training channels with other Dojo+ members
• Priority access to events like educational Smurf

All for less than $1/day. Yep, even in February on a leap year.

All of this comes out to less than 1 dollar per day.
Yes, even during leap years.
And any features we add in the future are grandfathered in at your rate forever.
